For more than 25 years John has been passionate about growing companies, organizations, teams, and individuals.  His passion starts with leading people with an authoritative leadership style and defining a set of core values, a purpose and a mission that creates a culture within the organization that drives vision, strategy, and execution of plans to achieve goals. 

As President & CEO of Skilcraft for 13 years, John led Skilcraft LLC to become a provider of precision Jet Engine, Space, Medical and other components for major global OEM’s. He took a regional manufacturer, analyzed markets, created a team, defined a set of core values, established a culture, and used a robust strategy process and business management platforms like Scaling Up that helped start an Aerospace Division, added an additional manufacturing site, and gained global recognition as a supplier that could help companies bring products to market.  

John’s leadership of Sklicraft, as an executive with SMC Inc. and Creation Technologies resulted in growth of sales, earnings, facilities, and employment. This growth led to successful returns for shareholders and employees.

John’s success in leading companies has been recognized by government and industry associations awards such as Thoroughbred of the Year Award (2x) and The Kentucky Association of Manufacturers 2023 Small business of the Year Award. Customers acknowledge his team’s success through supplier of the year awards from companies like GE Aviation and DRS.

John is married to his wife Susan of 32 years and resides in Northern Kentucky near his four children and grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, boating in the summer, and volunteering within the community in various roles as mentor for young people, catholic school boards and parishes.
