Valentine's For Troops

Description

This Valentine’s Day, the City of Florence is organizing the Valentines for Troops program to send heartfelt messages to our troops deployed overseas. From January 12-16, you can drop off your handmade cards, handwritten letters, or notes at the Administration Department. 

Please follow these guidelines:

• Send a card, handwritten letter, or note (no envelopes)
• Keep the card size to 8.5" x 11" or under
• Do not use glitter or materials that could break off
• Personal photos of the sender, family, church, or classroom are encouraged
• Messages should be positive and start with a salutation like “Dear Hero” or “Dear Brave One”
• All cards will be screened for appropriateness
