Catholic Charities is seeking a mission‑driven, clinically experienced leader to oversee our outpatient counseling program. This role blends clinical supervision, program leadership, and direct client care — offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.

About the Role

The Counseling Program Supervisor provides clinical supervision, program coordination, and trauma‑informed outpatient counseling services. This position ensures high‑quality, evidence‑based care while supporting staff development, program stability, and continuous improvement.

You will serve as part of the agency’s Management Team, contributing clinical insight and leadership to organizational planning and decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to counseling staff, including clinicians pursuing independent licensure
  • Oversee program coordination, quality assurance, documentation standards, and audit readiness
  • Support staff development, training, onboarding, and performance evaluation
  • Deliver outpatient counseling services (approx. 75%) including assessment, therapy, referral, and follow‑up
  • Monitor treatment outcomes, program performance metrics, and quality indicators
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality laws, and professional ethics
  • Collaborate with agency leadership to strengthen and grow counseling services

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or related mental health field
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); LCSW‑Supervisor preferred
  • 5+ years of clinical counseling experience
  • 3–5 years of supervisory or program leadership experience
  • Experience serving diverse populations
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of DSM‑5 and evidence‑based, trauma‑informed practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High integrity and discretion with confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • LCSW‑Supervisor certification (Kentucky Social Work Board)
  • Experience in Catholic or nonprofit service environments
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards (COA, Joint Commission) and outcome reporting systems
