Tuesday, May 20, 2025 (7:30 AM - 9:00 AM) (EDT)
Description
BE NKY identified Talent Growth through Attraction, Retention, and Skill Alignment as a critical need for a more competitive Northern Kentucky through its Community Competitive Initiative, launched in 2024. Leading education and business experts will share how Northern Kentucky can better prepare our students for the career opportunities offered by our businesses in the region through exposure, exploration and engagement targeting each education level – from kindergarten through 12th grade. Existing programs such as Adopt-A-Class, Navigo through Learning Grove, Leader in Me from Franklin Covey, and Trades NKY are being implemented in several Northern Kentucky school districts - panelists will share how these programs are engaging students, how businesses can get involved and how these programs can be leveraged to reach every student in Northern Kentucky.
