Join Northern Kentucky Young Professionals (NKYP) for our quarterly Lunchtime Leader Chat! In April, we welcome Perfetti Van Melle President & COO, Sylvia Buxton to discuss her career journey, share insights into her success and offer advice to young professionals.

Sylvia Buxton is a global executive with 30+ years in fast-moving consumer goods, leading iconic brands including Mentos, Airheads, Hershey’s, and Reese’s. She currently leads the Americas business for Perfetti Van Melle, overseeing 2,400+ employees across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Latin America.

A passionate mentor and advocate for emerging women leaders, Sylvia is active in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky community, serving on multiple boards including the Cincinnati Regional Chamber, OneNKY Alliance, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Sylvia has been recognized for her industry leadership by the National Confectionery Association, inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame, and honored as a 2024 Woman of Influence. She is also an accomplished competitive Masters swimmer.
