Secretary Goodman will discuss the current state of transportation infrastructure across the Commonwealth. Secretary Goodman will provide updates on major roadway and bridge projects, economic development initiatives, funding priorities, and the status of key transportation improvements impacting Kentucky communities and businesses. Attendees will gain insight into the Commonwealth’s long-term infrastructure strategy, regional connectivity efforts, and how transportation investments are shaping Kentucky’s future growth and competitiveness.

Appointed by Gov. Andy Beshear in April 2026, Secretary Goodman brings more than four decades of public service experience, including previous leadership roles within both the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and the Energy and Environment Cabinet. Her presentation will highlight key transportation initiatives, infrastructure priorities, economic development opportunities, and the critical role transportation plays in supporting Kentucky businesses and communities. Drawing from her extensive background in public policy, legal affairs, environmental stewardship, and utility advocacy, Secretary Goodman offers a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities shaping Kentucky’s transportation future.
