Public safety plays a critical role in the vibrancy of Northern Kentucky. The Emerging Leaders in Public Safety initiative represents a powerful collaboration between public safety professionals, community leaders, and the business community.

Through leadership training, recognition, and partnership, the program supports those who dedicate their careers to protecting our communities. By investing in emerging leaders today, Northern Kentucky is helping ensure strong, capable leadership in public safety for years to come.

Keynote Speaker: Dave Anderson


Dave Anderson is a West Point graduate and a decorated combat veteran. He earned a Bronze Star during Operation Desert Storm. Dave spent 20 years in a global Fortune 50 company in various leadership positions. During this time, he earned his company’s highest sales leadership award 4 times in an 8-year period.

Author of the Amazon Best Seller – Becoming a Leader of Character, Dave has also written 1000+ articles which focus on ethics, leadership, and the value of character. He has worked with multiple Fortune 500 companies and regional businesses as well. Since 2017, Dave has personally led thousands of public safety personnel from hundreds of agencies through his Officers of Character and Firefighters of Character workshops.

His recent keynotes include International Association of Chiefs of Police, and state law enforcement and fire chiefs leadership associations in Texas, California, Kentucky, Georgia, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Maine, Oregon, New Jersey, and North Carolina.
