Join Northern Kentucky Young Professionals (NKYP) for our quarterly Lunchtime Leader Chat! In February, we welcome Horizon Community Foundation President and CEO, Nancy Grayson, to discuss her career journey, share insights into his success, and offer advice to young professionals.


Nancy Grayson is President & CEO of Horizon Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky, Northern Kentucky’s own community foundation. As President & CEO, Nancy is responsible for implementing the vision and strategic direction of Horizon Community Foundation, working collaboratively with other leaders and donors to serve the community's needs.

A recognized leader, Nancy has served on numerous boards of organizations dedicated to improving education, promoting healthy family relationships, and preserving the natural resources and history of Kentucky. She currently serves on the Endow Kentucky Commission and the LINK Media Board of Directors. Nancy also is a vocalist with Suits that Rock, a group of local business leaders who perform an annual benefit concert.

Nancy has received various awards, including the Cincinnati Enquirer Woman of the Year Award (2022), Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Women of Northern Kentucky Award (2021), Northern Kentucky Tribune Newsmaker Award (2018), and the Northern Kentucky Champion for Education Award (2011). She is an alumna of Leadership Northern Kentucky (Class of 2009). Nancy is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
